Sponsorship

Anyone who has been on a mission trip to Granada knows of the boys of Los Niños and the sisters who care for them. And everyone who has met the boys has come to love and care for them for they are so loving and in NEED of our love. By the grace of God, the Christ the Healer Mission group has been able to do many good things for the boys to help them have a home and stay off the street and away from violence, begging, and glue sniffing. The boys now have a decent home to live in, food, schooling, structure, and love from the Sisters who care for them and the missionaries who visit them. Unfortunately, due to a lack of donations, the sisters have had to turn away 17 boys this year.

We would now like to go a step further in securing Los Niños' future by assisting with the many expenses and needs of taking care of the boys. We would hate to see her turn away any more boys, much less turn away the boys she now has due to a lack of funding. Therefore, Christ the Healer has established a sponsorship program to help support the Los Niños orphanage. Sponsorship includes provision for a child's food, clothing, housing, school supplies, educational needs, psychological needs and religious education. There are 4 designated levels of sponsorship at Los Niños.

Level 1: A Level I Sponsorship is a gift of $2,160 a year or $180 a month. This provides for the expenses of one boy for a whole year.

Level 2: Sponsorship is a gift of $1,080 a year or $90 a month. This provides for the expenses of one boy for half a year.

Level 3: Sponsorship is a gift of $720 a year or $60 a month. This provides for the expenses of one boy for 4 months.

Level 4: Sponsorship is a gift of $540 a year or $45 a month. This provides for the expenses of one boy for 3 months.

Please remember that a little can do a lot for these young boys. If you do not feel that you want to sign up to be a sponsor, one time donations are still just as important.
